Mexico
A 40 Days for Life volunteer in Mexico received a phone call...from an abortionist at the facility where she stands vigil.
Days earlier, he walked by the site and took a campaign leaflet, and he called to share that he was leaving his job in the abortion industry.
"I wanted to speak with you," he began. "I have a deep faith in God. This [prayer vigil] really moved me, and I have already resigned."
Columbia, Missouri
Pro-life Missourians are working to pass a constitutional amendment to protect unborn children.
Win or lose, Kathy and the Columbia 40 Days for Life team are already protecting them on the sidewalk. Kathy asked a college-age expectant mother whether she wanted to continue her pregnancy.
"Yes, but I don't know how to tell my parents," she said, falling into Kathy's arms. Kathy encouraged her and gave her information on a local pregnancy clinic and a variety of materials. The young woman and her friends waved at Kathy as they departed Planned Parenthood.
This is the second saved baby for the Columbia campaign this fall. Please pray that the mother's parents will be understanding and supportive.
Vista, California
A group from the neighboring Camp Pendleton Marine Corps base came out to pray at the Vista 40 Days for Life vigil!
"Father Jude was joined by his brothers and sisters from a Protestant pro-life group that's working hard on the base to promote life," Julie wrote. "An awesome ecumenical gathering!"

Most loving God, please help the victims of abuse, trafficking, and broken relationships. Provide them with immediate and permanent safety from danger. In your loving arms, heal them from injuries--physical, psychological, and spiritual. Lead them to the best sources of support and healing. Bring comfort to all victims of abuse, and help children conceived in abusive situations to know they are loved by you. Amen.
