Stockton, California

Our general counsel, Matt Britton, visited Stockton, where the campaign recently transitioned to a year-round 40 Days for Life 365 vigil. "The core group is extremely dedicated and well organized and has been praying and fasting to end abortion for two decades or more," Matt noted.
A few days later, Loretta went to pray in front of Planned Parenthood and encountered a lot of negativity. "A couple of people used their middle finger to point me up to the heavens," she joked.
But her perseverance paid off. Just as she was wrapping up her shift, a young woman pulled into the parking lot. After an emotional 15-minute conversation with her boyfriend, the couple left, choosing life for their eight-week-old baby.
"Not today, Satan!" Loretta celebrated.
New Haven, Connecticut

When a ride share driver near the Yale campus slowed down to talk with 40 Days for Life participants, an abortion escort yelled at him to keep moving: "If you want to continue working here...stop talking to the protesters!"
What did that mean? New Haven campaign leader Mariana wonders whether Planned Parenthood is paying for abortion clients' rides. "The escort sure showed some entitlement by threatening the driver," she commented.
Prayer warriors had another opportunity to witness when an abortion supporter stopped to talk for an hour. "We don’t know where that conversation will lead, but I'm grateful he stopped to talk," Mariana said.

They came bringing to him a paralytic carried by four men. Unable to get near Jesus because of the crowd, they opened up the roof above him. After they had broken through, they let down the mat on which the paralytic was lying. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Child, your sins are forgiven."
