Last chance! This weekend is the last of the Lenten 40 Days for Life campaign--and today is the busiest abortion day of the week. So go pray, fast, and save a life: 40daysforlife.com/locations
Abortion pills have overtaken surgical abortions as the most common way to kill an unborn child.
These pills are now mailed out, distributed through pharmacy drive-through windows, and sold on the black market.
But unlike surgical abortions, it's possible to reverse many pill-induced abortions by taking progesterone--a natural hormone the body produces to sustain pregnancy. And nobody is better positioned to empower a woman to reverse her abortion than a 40 Days for Life participant.
Three 40 Days for Life vigil volunteers in the South Bronx ministered to a woman who had taken the abortion pill...and the young mother went to a pregnancy center and saved her baby with the Abortion Pill Reversal protocol!
"The baby is still alive!" exclaimed Sol, the local leader. "She told the pregnancy center that it was the prayer warriors who helped her choose life for her baby."
The 40 Days for Life volunteers were thrilled by the development.
"This is just incredible. So incredible," Sol said. "I mean...Jesus! No one like Him. Incomparable and immeasurable."

As both a 40 Days for Life leader and a physician, Monique has a unique vantage point on the Abortion Pill Reversal process.
Not only does her team encourage women who have taken the abortion pill to look into reversal...but Monique is also able to help with the reversal herself.
"I received a call from a young girl [who] took the abortion pill and instantly regretted it," she said. "One of the prayer warriors met with her and...the progesterone was called in [to the pharmacy] within hours of taking the pill. She will be following up this week in my office."
The presence of 40 Days for Life volunteers made a huge difference.
"Thank God that prayer warrior was present!" Monique said. "If not, [the reversal] could have been delayed significantly, and the chance of saving this mom and baby could have slipped away."

A young woman saw Marlene's "Abortion Pill Reversal" sign and asked her about it.
After hearing Marlene's explanation, the woman said she wished she had known about Abortion Pill Reversal earlier.
"It's a powerful sign that creates awareness that...some people do regret having taken the pill," wrote Cosmina from the Concord campaign leadership team. "It also plants a seed that taking the abortion pill is not a good idea."

By holding her 40 Days for Life vigil in front of a CVS pharmacy, Becky is looking to make sure women never get to the point of needing to reverse their abortions.
People are noticing the sacrifice her team is making by praying in ugly weather.
"Some guy came up to us and said he was grateful that we were out here," Becky recalled. "He said that he knew the Bible says we will be reviled for speaking the truth, but here we were out in the cold and rain anyway. Such a blessing!"
One woman stopped to ask about Abortion Pill Reversal after seeing the team's sign. "She works at the library nearby and told our volunteers she sees a lot of troubled women," Becky said. "Now she'll know where to direct [them]."
Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here and see my hands, and bring your hand and put it into my side, and do not be unbelieving, but believe." Thomas answered and said to him, "My Lord and my God!"

Dear Jesus, thank you for the ways that science helps us to better see and know your creation. Please lead every expectant mother to a place that will enable her to see her child with an ultrasound. Grant her the simplicity to see the humanity in her womb and the courage to protect it. Amen.
