Former abortionist Dr. Haywood Robinson would have celebrated his 74th birthday this past week.
Sadly, we lost Haywood to heart failure this summer. We paid tribute to his singular and enduring legacy recently on two episodes of The 40 Days for Life Podcast.

40 Days for Life teams around the world continued to hold campaign kickoff events this weekend.

Tucson, Arizona
Laura in Tucson always hosts amazing 40 Days for Life kickoff rallies.
One of the evening's most powerful moments came when a once-abortion-minded woman who chose life shared that her baby also saved her life.
"Her little one was there with her," Laura said. "It was such a powerful reminder of why we gather, pray, and show up."
A big audience was on hand to hear the testimony--130 people. And those pro-lifers will be back.
"We're entering this campaign with more prayer hours already filled than we have ever had before a campaign has even begun!" Laura said. "We are so encouraged by the response of our community and excited to see how God moves throughout these next 40 days."
Columbus, Georgia
Angie said 40 Days for Life volunteers were "squeezed in like sardines" for her kickoff rally in the Peach State.
The event opened with prayer from Fr. Kevin, continued with praise and worship music, and featured plenty of encouragement.
"Someone told me that it was the best kickoff to date," Angie shared.
Her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord had shown his great mercy toward her, and they rejoiced with her.

Dear Lord, thank you for the gift of friendship. Teach us to see your beauty in those around us, and give us the grace to serve our friends and neighbors. We ask you to especially bless the families and friends of expectant mothers. Help those who are close to expectant mothers to offer the compassionate care that Elizabeth’s friends did throughout her pregnancy. Help us never to close our eyes to women in need. Amen.
