Colorado Springs, Colorado
Nobody understands the violent nature of abortion better than those who perform abortions. That makes the testimony of repentant abortionists compelling.
The 40 Days for Life kickoff rally in Colorado Springs was headlined by former abortion provider Dr. Catherine Wheeler, who provided a powerful demonstration--even bringing a tool that she used to do abortions.
That witness will reverberate around the world, as the rally drew international news coverage from a Japanese television station!
Littleton, Colorado
In suburban Denver, Paula and her Littleton 40 Days for Life team opened the autumn campaign with a Jericho March around the strip mall that houses Planned Parenthood.
Modeling their event after the biblical Jericho March, vigil participants asked God to close the abortion facility and end abortion in Littleton.
"Great event that drew a good crowd with all ages," April reported. "Paula was great and has a very active group."
Boulder, Colorado
April's visit to Boulder featured a visit to both a late-term abortion facility and a local cemetery that features a memorial to aborted babies.
"A mortuary asked a church to accept the bodies of the late-term abortion victims for burial," April explained. "Sacred Heart of Mary Church provided a Catholic burial for the babies and maintains the memorial."
Fort Collins, Colorado
Colorado is home to three 40 Days for Life 365 vigils--Colorado Springs, Denver, and Fort Collins.
In northern Colorado, the Fort Collins team transitioned into the fall 40 Days for Life campaign with a praise and worship rally at a local church.
"A great worship experience," April said. "Very inspiring!"
