Munich, Germany
In Munich, 40 Days for Life volunteers pray outside a building that is half-kindergarten, half-abortion facility.
(Yes, you read that correctly.)
A woman came by the vigil and told participants she had had an abortion. Contrary to the narratives about pro-lifers "judging" women, the woman was grateful for the presence of vigil participants.
"She thought it was wonderful that we were praying for her!" explained one vigil participant. "She was very open to talking with us! And to our prayers for her!"
Las Cruces, New Mexico
After the overturning of Roe v. Wade, abortion supporters insisted that droves of women in pro-life states would cross borders to have abortions.
That hasn't really materialized...but pro-lifers are crossing state lines!
"Why did you come if this isn't your city?" a city representative asked Las Cruces 40 Days for Life participants who had come from Texas.
"Our answer was simple," wrote Jessica, whose organization, the Southwest Coalition, heads up multiple campaigns. "How far would you travel if you knew you could save a life? Our team [is] willing to travel hours."
Now Jessica and her team are asking everyone, "How far are you willing to go?"

Lord, we ask that you might grant every person struggling with doubts the reassurance that you are with them. We ask that you might work in the hearts of men and women who question your existence. We pray that more people will come to believe that you are the source of all strength and the summit of all hope. And we ask you to help us to trust that through your work in our lives, we can build up a culture that recognizes the dignity of every person. Amen.
